Chief Executive Officer of Ashgold, Emmanuel Frimpong has said head coach of the side, Milovan Cirkovic can lead the club to win the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League season.
The Miners continued their fine form in the ongoing season as they dismantled King Faisal 5-1 at the Len Clay Stadium on Wednesday.
Speaking to Graphic Sports in an interview, the CEO beleives the coach has improved the team and can the team to glory.
“We are on course towards winning the league because our Serbian coach, Milovan Cirkovic, has come out with a strategy that has given our players the tonic to compete favourably for the league trophy,” he said.
“Our match against Elmina Sharks was very interesting because it proved that we are tactically and technically prepared and beating King Faisal prove we are ready to be champions in the Ghana Premier League," he added.
Ashgold will be hosted by Eleven Wonders on Sunday at the Nana Ameyaw Park in the matchday 6.
The Miners are currently sitting on the 3rd position with 8 points with one match at hand.
