An uninspiring performance from King Faisal on Friday afternoon has seen the team losing for the first time in the 2021/2022 Ghana Premier League season.
The team owned by Alhaji Karim Grusah and based in Kumasi has had a bright start to the new season but unfortunately, they have been stopped in their tracks today.
Before the matchday 4 clash against Berekum Chelsea at the Golden City Park today, King Faisal had won all three previous matches in some style.
In the away game today, the opponent appeared well-oiled and hence matched King Faisal boot for boot.
After 35 minutes into the first half, Berekum Chelsea took the lead through a curling effort from Paul Attah Agyei.
Although King Faisal will come in strong to put up a fight, the efforts of the visitors could not lead to a goal, resulting in a 1-0 defeat at the end of the 90 minutes.
