In-form King Faisal had to fight to beat Bibiani Gold Stars 2-1 on Sunday afternoon thanks to a strong first-half display.
The Kumasi-based club today hosted the league’s newcomers at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in a game serving as a matchday 11 encounter of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season.
Following a very positive to the encounter, striker Osman Ibrahim scored with a fine effort in the 20th minute to shoot King Faisal into a deserved lead.
Later in the game, talisman Zubairu Ibrahim got his name on the scoresheet to double the lead for the Kumasi-based outfit.
Although Gold Stars will dominated in the second half, the team only managed to net a consolation goal through Charles Kamara in the 46th minute as they were forced to succumb to a defeat at the end of the contest.
