2021/22 Ghana Premier League matchday 8: Dreams FC thrash Karela United to move into top 4

Dreams FC have climbed into the top four of the Ghana Premier League standings after thrashing Karela United 3-1 on Wednesday afternoon.

The free-scoring side from Dawu today hosted the matchday 8 opponent of the 2021/2022 Ghanaian top-flight league at the Theatre of Dreams.

Just after eight minutes into the first half, Dreams FC took the lead through talented young forward Ali Hufaz.

In a game where Karela United struggled, the home team doubled their lead through Abdul Fatawu Issahaku in the 37th minute to go into the break in full control of the match.

With the visitors unable to come back into the encounter, Dreams FC killed off the game with a third goal in the 50th minute scored by Ali Hufaz.

Having held on to win 3-1 at the end of the game, Dreams FC are now third on the Ghana Premier League table.
