At the end of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season, WAFA SC have been relegated following the team’s poor display.
Over the years, the team from Sogakope has displayed good performances in the various Ghana Premier League seasons.
Unfortunately, after losing a number of top players, things did not turn out well this season.
WAFA SC struggled from the start of the season and after failing to recover in the second round, the team has suffered a painful relegation.
On the final matchday of the season today, the side lost 1-0 to Karelia United and must now prepare for life in the National Division One League.
Besides WAFA SC, Techiman Eleven Wonders and Elmina Sharks have also been relegated at the end of the 2021-22 Ghana Premier League season.
