2021/22 GHPL: Nurudeen Amadu says there is 'room for improvement' in his King Faisal side

Nurudeen Amadu believes there is still room for improvement from King Faisal despite their 1-0 win over WAFA in Ghana Premier League on Sunday.

The 'Insha Allah' side made an impressive start to the new season with a narrow win at the Baba Yara Stadium.

Second-substitute Zubairu Ibrahim sealed all three points for the host in the keenly contested game.

"My strikers weren't clinical we missed lots of chances. The performance wasn't bad but still, there's more room for improvement," coach Amadu said after the game.

"We lost three key players and definitely it will tough without but we are working hard to replace all of them going forward."

"My players couldn't exhibit our game plan but a three points against WAFA is very crucial and we hoping to settle well going forward."

King Faisal will travel to Dormaa to take on former Premier League champions Aduana Stars on match-week two of the Ghana Premier League.
