Black Stars have departed the country for São Tomé and Príncipe ahead of their 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying match on Monday.

Coach Kwesi Appiah and his lads left Ghana on Sunday afternoon and are expected to arrive in the capital Sao Tome in the evening to continue preparations for the match which kicks off at 1 pm local time at the Estadio Nacional 12 de Julho.

Black Stars made a flying start to their 2021 Afcon qualifiers with a 2-0 victory over South Africa at the Cape Coast Stadium on Thursday.

A goal apiece in each half from Thomas Partey and Kudus Mohammed ensured coach Kwesi Appiah's side picked up all three points at home.

Ghana will face Sao Tome and Principe in their second Group C game in the on-going Afcon qualifiers as they set sights on making it two wins from two games.
