Messie Jessie Oved Nkounkou Mvoutou from Congo has been appointed by Confederation of African Football (CAF) to officiate Ghana’s 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against São Tomé and Príncipe on Monday.

He will be assisted by his compatriots Styven Daniel Moutsassi Moyo (Assistant 1), Beaudrel Ntsele Roul (Assistant 2) and Lazard Tsiba Kamba (fourth official).

Jose Fernando Macao from Angola will serve as the Match Commissioner while Evarist Menkounde from Cameroon will be the Referee Assessor.

The game will be played at the Estadio Nacional 12 de Julho in São Tomé on Monday 18 November.

Black Stars made a flying start to their 2021 Afcon qualifiers with a 2-0 victory over South Africa at the Cape Coast Stadium on Thursday.

A goal apiece in each half from Thomas Partey and Kudus Mohammed ensured coach Kwesi Appiah's side picked up all three points at home.

Ghana will face Sao Tome and Principe in their second Group C game in the on-going Afcon qualifiers as they set sights on making it two wins from two games.
