Black Stars head coach Kwesi Appiah has called for support from Ghanaians ahead of 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against South Africa in Cape Coast.
Ghana will face the Bafana Bafana at the Cape Coast Stadium on Thursday before travelling to São Tomé and Príncipe to play them four days later.
Coach Kwesi Appiah put the players through their paces for the first time at the Accra Sports Stadium on Moday.
Speaking to the media after the training session, the 59-year-old said: "I believe this is only team we have as Ghanaians and we need to protect and support it together. I believe that if we really want to bring back the love as we all want then a lot will depend on the media."
Only 13 players reported for training on Monday at the Accra sport stadium with the rest of the players expected to arrive on Tuesday before team departs for Cape Coast for final preparations ahead of the match.
