2021 AFCON qualifiers: We are ready to give our all against Ghana – Sudan captain Al-Shagil

Captain for the Sudan male senior soccer national team, Nasreddine Al-Shagil has noted that the entire team is ready to give their all when they take on Ghana in the 2020 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers this year.

The Falcons of Jediane will take on the Black Stars in a crucial 3rd match of Group C of the qualifiers in the next couple of months.

Now sitting 3rd on the standings of the table, Sudan is hoping to get over the challenge of Ghana to ensure they climb up.

In a bid to make sure their dream of picking up all 3 points from that match becomes a reality, Sudan has commenced camping to give head coach Hubert Flood enough time to prepare his squad.

Speaking on the morale in camp amongst the invited players, captain of the Sudan national team, Nasreddine Al-Shagil says the team is ready to play for the honour of wearing the national colours.

“The players affirmed in their conversations that wearing the Sudanese national team's slogan is an honor for which there is no honor, and they agreed on the necessity of doing their best in the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations 2021 qualifiers”, the captain indicated.

CAF is expected to announce the date for the clash between Sudan and Ghana very soon.
