CK Akonnor will have the chance to name a new set of players for the upcoming qualifiers and one name has been constantly mentioned on the lips of Ghanaians, Arsenal hit man Eddie Nketiah.
The youngster has been linked with the Black Stars for quite sometime with a lot of rumors coming up.
It took flight when Arsenal won the FA cup. The Ghana Football Association purposely congratulated him for it, sparking a huge reaction from Ghanaians.

In the last few weeks, a man who claimed to be his uncle said that Nketiah's father didn't want him to play for Ghana yet.
“The structures in The GFA is not correct. His dad is not ready to allow his son to play for Ghana," he told Wontumi radio.
Nketiah's father, however, denied those rumors through Saddick Adams, a sports journalist.
“Eddie Nketiah Snr, father of Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah, tells me, reports about him preventing his son from playing for Ghana are “made up”.
Nketiah seemingly have the qualities to lead the line for many years to come but it is only a matter of time for fans to find out if he will play for Ghana.
