Aduana Stars striker Yahaya Mohammed is set to miss his side's league opener against Hearts of Oak on Saturday as he continues to recover from a knee injury.

The 32-year-old suffered a knee injury during their preseason game against Nkoranza Warriors SC last Saturday.

He has not been able to train with the team since sustaining the injury and is set to miss the crucial game at the Nana Agyemang Badu II Park.

Aduana Stars are the defending champions of the Ghana Premier League and will look to start the new season on a good note as they look to retain the title for the first time in their history.

Hearts will travel to Dormaa Ahenkro to play their first game of the 2020/21 league season against Aduana Stars on Saturday, November 14.
