AshantiGold have gotten back to winning ways following a 2-1 victory over Berekum Chelsea at the Len Clay stadium on Sunday.
The Miners initially went behind in the 10th minute. A mistake from Opoku Agyemang led to a volleyed goal from Augustine Henneh.
AshantiGold didn't back down and were rewarded with an equaliser from Appiah MacCarthy who converted a direct free kick in the 23rd minute.
With five minutes left to the end of the second half, AshantiGold's Hans Kwofie converted a quick counter attack to complete the comeback.
The Obuasi-based side are now third on the log and Berekum Chelsea are 15th.
