Ebusua Dwarfs managed to get back to winning ways with a labored 1-0 victory over Aduana Stars at home on Sunday afternoon.
The Mysterious Dwarfs went into the game winning just once in their last five and needed the win to boost the team confidence. The Cape Coast-based side managed to get it done thanks to a second half strike from Simon Martey.
The two teams created some opportunities to score in the first half but none of them were able to find the net. In the second half, Dwarfs showed more grit and were rewarded with a goal just 12 minutes to the end of regulation thanks to Simon Martey.
Dwarfs are now 12th on the log with 34 points and Aduana Stars are 8th with 40 points.
