Inter Allies goalkeeper Gideon Ahenkorah has expressed his disappointment following his side's 1-0 loss to Berekum Chelsea in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.
Ahenkorah returned to face his former team Chelsea as they lost narrowly at the Golden City park.
Paul Agyei Attah’s first half goal was enough to seal all three points for the Blues in their matchday 8 Premier League encounter.
"I’m disappointed with the result, last season we had the upper hand here so we came into this match for another record or repeat what we did here last season. But I feel so sad that we could not pick the maximum points or even a draw in this game," he said after the game.
"Our attackers are young and upcoming strikers who have been promoted from the youth team so they are still in the learning process of getting better, and they’ll be better soon."
He added, "The kid was fantastic, after the game I spoke with Chelsea’s president about him. The boy is so amazing and pulled two-three brilliant saves, we could not get at least a point here because of him."
