2021 Ghana Premier League: Medeama recall striker Opoku Agyemang from Cape Town City loan

Ghana Premier League side, Medeama SC, have recalled striker Prince Opoku Agyemang from his loan spell at South African side, Cape Town City FC.

The 28-year-old joined Cape Town City on a one-year deal with the option to extend to June 2024.

Medeama's struggle in-front of goal this season in the absence of Opoku Agyemang prompted the club's decision to recall him after just four months.

Both clubs have reached an agreement to terminate the loan deal to make way for the striker’s return to the Ghana Premier League.

Agyemang was a key cog of Medeama SC in the truncated 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season where he scored 11 goals and provided there assists  in 14 games.

He joined the Yellow and Mauves prior to start of last season following an impressive campaign in the Ghana second-tier with New Edubiase United FC.

The Ghanaian international was part of the Black Stars B team that finished runners-up at the 2019 WAFU Cup of Nations in Senegal.
