2022/23 Ghana Premier League Week 12: Match Report- Legon Cities 0-0 Dreams

Legon Cities drew goalless with Dreams FC in their Ghana Premier League match day 12 game which was played on Wednesday 11th January.

The home side started the game very well, Nicholas Mensah was brought down by a Dreams FC player and the referee whistled for a Legon Cities’ free kick.

Legon Cities had a huge chance in the 30th minute, Joseph Mereku found Kwabena Adu Meider with an excellent pass but his shot was weak.

Dreams FC got control of the midfield a few minutes to half time and their attacking move to score was stopped by Legon Cities goalkeeper Slyvester Sackey.

After halftime Dreams FC continued from where they left off in the first half. Legon Cities goalkeeper Slyvester Sackey denied Dreams FC a goal with a good save in the 47th minute.

The home side made some changes to try and get a goal. Osman Amadu and Dennis Wazorzi came on for Meider Adu and Joseph Mereku.

Dreams FC also made changes Wisdom Yevu and Huzaf Ali came on for David Van Dijk and Dede Ishmael.

Legon Cities is 9th on the league table with 16 and Dreams FC is 8th with 16 points. Legon Cities will take on Nsoatreman in their next GPL game while Dreams FC will play Real Tamale United.
