2022/23 Ghana Premier League: Week 15 Match Preview - Kotoku Royals v Bibiani Goldstars

Published on: 31 January 2023

Kotoku Royals have been in dismal form in the ongoing Ghana Premier League campaign and will have to play above themselves to maintain their status in the top-flight.

They will welcome the miners to the Cape Coast Stadium in matchday 15 of the Ghanaian top-flight on Wednesday afternoon.

Kotoku Royals have their mindset on returning to winning ways on home turf after a 5-1 drubbing against Kotoko on Sunday.

The Ghana Premier League newcomers are currently in the relegation drop after 14 matches into the season.

Coach John Eduafo’s side have suffered four defeats and managed just a win in their last five Ghana Premier League games.

The Oda-based club who sits bottom with 7 points will go into the encounter with all seriousness, knowing that a win against Goldstars will boost their chances of surviving relegation.

Meanwhile, Goldstars are travelling to Cape Coast to face Kotoku Royals on the back of a win at away against Tamale City. They are yet to lose in their last three away games.

Before beating Tamale City, Michael Osei’s side had recorded four stalemates in the domestic top-flight league.

In the last five games, Goldstars have managed four draws and one win in the process.

Bibiani Goldstars are 5th on the league log with 23 points after 14 matches into the campaign.
