2022/23 Ghana Premier League Week 3: Match Report – Karela United 2-0 Dreams FC

Karela United stopped the high flying Dreams FC in the matchday 3 game which was played at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park in Anyinase.

Karela United beat the "Still Believe" lads 2-0 on Sunday afternoon.

The visitor's started the game very strongly Simab made a good run and found Ali but the striker's effort was stopped by the goalkeeper.

Ignatius Osei Fosu's boys kept on pushing forward in the early minutes of the game. But the host halted their momentum with a goal in the 11th minute.

Karela United again in the 20th minute extended their lead 2-0.

The visitors looking for a response nearly got one in the 27th minute. Samuel Arthur's solo run was saved by the goalkeeper.

After halftime Dreams FC made some changes Aziz Issah replaced Agyemin Boateng as they search for a goal.

Aziz Issah nearly scored with his first involvement in the game. His shot was deflected for a corner.

Karela United remained solid at the back as Dreams FC pushed more men for forward to grab an equaliser.

The host during the five minutes for added time defended with everything they had with their supporters in a jubilant mode.

Karela United is 3rd with six points on the Ghana Premier League table while Dreams is 7th with 6 points. Karela United will take on Nsoatreman in their next game while Dreams FC will face Accra Lions.
