2022 FIFA WCQ: Black Stars to travel to South Africa on Tuesday to prepare for Ethiopia showdown

Ghana’s Black Stars will on Tuesday, November 9, 2021, travel to South Africa to prepare for the clash against Ethiopia in the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Last week, head coach Milovan Rajevac at a press conference held at the Secretariat of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) announced a 28-man said for the final two matches in Group G of the Africa qualifiers to next year’s World Cup.

Over the weekend, Andre Ayew and a few other players arrived in the country ahead of the opening of camp today.

Footballghana.com can report that all players will be in Ghana by close of today before the squad alongside technical handlers and officials of the GFA travel to South Africa today.

There, the team will have two days to train before taking on Ethiopia in Johannesburg.

Ghana is keen on winning that match to stay in contention for qualification to the final stage of qualification to the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
