2022 FIFA WCQ: Milovan Rajevac to name Ghana squad today for final hurdle in Group G

Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac will name his squad for this month’s FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 qualifiers against Ethiopia and South Africa on Thursday.

The 67-year-old will hold a press conference at 12 noon to announce his squad at the conference room of the Ghana Football Association.

Rajavac won his first two games in charge of the Black Stars as they lie second in Group G with nine points, one point behind leaders South Africa after four matches played so far.

Skipper Andre Ayew, Thomas Partey, Jordan Ayew, Mohammed Kudus, Kamaldeen Sulemana, Daniel Amartey are all expected to be named in the squad for the crucial qualifiers.

According to reports, Sheriff Tiraspol midfielder Edmund Addo is also expected to receive his maiden call-up for the games.

The Black Stars will travel to South Africa to play Ethiopia on November 11, before returning to Ghana to take on South Africa at the Cape Coast Stadium in the final Group G encounter.
