Nigeria skipper Ahmed Musa says the Super Eagles are fully ready for battle against Ghana in the 2022 FIFA World Cup final play-offs second leg tie.
The Super Eagles were held to a goalless draw in the first leg last Friday at the Baba Yara Sports stadium in Kumasi.
Nigeria must win their match against Ghana in Abuja on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at the Moshood Abiola Stadium for a ticket to Qatar 2022
"All the players, including myself, want to go to the World Cup. For me, it is very important because it could be my last World Cup. I enjoyed the last two finals that I participated in, Brazil 2014 and Russia 2018," Musa told thenff.com.
"I want to experience it again. Most of the players in the present squad have not been to the World Cup and they desire to be there.
"We all know it won’t be easy. Ghana will come here to do battle but we are ready for whatever they turn up with. I will not say more than that."
The winner of the tie will represent the continent at the World football showpiece which is scheduled to take place from November 21 to December 18.
The Super Eagles are seeking to qualify for the global showpiece a 7th time and, since 1994, have missed only one of seven editions. The last of three appearances by Ghana was in 2014.
