Portugal is ready for the start of the 2022 FIFA World Cup after naming a final 26-man squad for the Qatar tournament.

The group opponent of Ghana is going to Qatar with a very strong squad made up of quality players who play for big clubs in Europe.

After making the final squad for the tournament, Portugal’s poster boy Cristiano Ronaldo has taken to his social media page to indicate that he is ready to fight with his teammates to make the country proud.

“Once more ready to raise the name of Portugal high. There are 26 names on Mister Fernando Santos' list, but we are all summoned! Force Portugal,” the Manchester United legend and football phenom shared.

At the 2022 FIFA World Cup, Ghana is in Group H with Portugal alongside Uruguay and South Korea.

The first group game will be between Ghana and Portugal on November 24.
