2023/24 CAF Champions League: Medeama will not repeat mistakes from Al Ahy game against CR Belouizdad

Medeama Sporting Club's administrative manager, Joseph Tetteh Zutah, says his side will not repeat mistakes from their maiden CAF Champions League humbling at the hands Al Ahly in their next game against CR Belouizdad.

The Ghana champions held on for over an hour and gave up three goals after the hour mark to lose 3-0 in Cairo on Saturday..

Medeama will now host CR Belouizdad in their second group game on Friday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

Speaking ahead of the game, Zutah said the Ahly game gave them valuable experience ahead of their second game.

"All in all, i can say the players have gotten the first experience from the game against Al-Ahly, so going into the next game against CR Belouizdad, i am of the view that, now there are certain mistakes they committed that won’t be repeated," he told Citi Sports.

"If we really want to qualify out of the group then we have to beat CR Belouizdad at all cost and the players are aware of that."
