The team from Dawu today welcomed the newly promoted Premier League side for their first match of the new season.

In a game played at the Theatre of Dreams in Dawu, Dreams Football Club had a dream start and scored after just eight minutes into the first half.

Youngster Ebenezer Adade scored with a brilliant effort to shoot the hosts into the lead.

That goal was enough to give Dreams FC all three points after Nations FC failed in their efforts to equalise to at least salvage a point.

In the other Ghana Premier League game played today, Medeama SC had to come from behind twice to draw 2-2 with Accra Lions.

The two games cleared today means all Round 1 games of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season have been played.

The first round of the season ends with Berekum Chelsea on top of the league table and Bibiani Gold Stars at the bottom.
