Heart of Lions was beaten 2-1 at home in their match week eleven game against Bechem United on Saturday afternoon.
Before the encounter 18th place Heart of Lions had drawn two and lost three in five games. 9th place Bechem United had won two and drawn three in five games.
In the 19th minute, striker Augustine Okrah scored to put Bechem United in front.
After the break Heart of Lions brought on some fresh legs to try and get a positive result. In the 55th minute, Samuel Agbenyegah replaced Kwesi Pong and Benson Kofi Yeboah replaced Mustapha Yakubu.
Bechem United continued to push more men forward and were rewarded with a goal. Cameroonian midfielder Gabriel Yapy Tenlep scored to make it two for the Hunters in the 59th minute.
Substitute Samuel Koshie Agbenyegah scored the consolation goal for Heart of Lions in the 71st minute.
Heart of Lions will play Nsoatreman in their next game and Bechem United will welcome Bibiani Gold Stars.
