Bechem United were unable to make their home advantage count after sharing the spoils with Bibiani Goldstars in the Ghana Premier League.

In the game, both teams gave everything in the bid to secure maximum points in the week 12 of the domestic top-flight but settled for a pulsating goalless draw on Monday at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park.

The Hunters were eager to beat Goldstars to maintain their winning run but the visitors proved to be a stronger opponent. Despite creating goalscoring opportunities, both teams were unable to find the back of the net as the game ended 0-0 in full time.

Bechem United have moved to the seventh position with 17 points after 12 games into the campaign so far.

Meanwhile, Bibiani Goldstars are still winless in their last five games in the top-flight after failing to beat Bechem United.

Before this game, the miners had suffered two consecutive defeats in the Ghanaian top-flight.

They went into the game without their head coach Michael Osei who has been force take a short leave following the clubs’ recent unimpressive results.

Despite the technical team shake up, Goldstars were unable to return to winnings ways.

The Bibiani-based club still find themselves in the relegation zone after 12 matches. They are currently 16th on the standings with 12 points.
