Both teams go into the game on the back of victories in their previous Ghana Premier League matches and will be aiming to maintain their winning runs.

The premier league debutants are currently in 4th position with 20 points after shaking off a difficult start to the season. Nations FC’s resurgence continued last weekend with a narrow away win over Accra Lions in Sogakope.

The Abrankese-based club are on a four-game winning streak and are eager to maintain their revival against Aduana Stars, who are also desperate for points. Nations FC have four wins and one defeat in their last five games.

Coach Kasim Mingle and his charges are brimming with confidence and excitement ahead of their clash with the fire boys.

Nations FC hopes for a win, but come up against the Ogya Boys who are also keen for points to maintain their top spot in the Ghanaian top-flight.

Aduana Stars bounced back to winning ways last week after inflicting a narrow win over giants, Hearts of Oak at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park. Bright Adjei’s wickedly deflected free-kick handed the Fire Boys victory.

Before snatching a win against Hearts of Oak, the two-time Ghana Premier League winners had suffered two straight defeats. In their last five games, they have recorded three wins and two defeats.

And with 24 points, Aduana Stars sit top of the table as they fight for their third league title.
