The Porcupine Warriors has been in dismal form since the resumption of the Ghana Premier League. Kotoko have managed just a win from the three games played so far in the second half of the season.

With 32 points, the Ghana Premier League record holders sit third position on the log after 20 matches into the season.

The Kumasi-based club will be seeking for redemption against Accra Lions, who are also desperate for points.

It promises to be a thrilling encounter in Kumasi as both teams will be yearning for maximum points at stake.

Kotoko are eager for the three maximum points but they come up against Accra Lions, who are brimming with much confident having inflicted a resounding 5-0 win over Berekum Chelsea in the last fixture.

The two-time Champions League winners will miss the services of midfielder Michael Kyei Dwamena due to an injury setback. The youngster has been ruled out of action for six weeks after picking up an injury.

Kotoko cannot afford to drop points this time having failed to deliver in the second half of the season.

Coach Ibrahim Tanko and his charges made light work of Chelsea and will be hoping to replicate same performance against the Porcupine Warriors.

Accra Lions have managed one win and a draw in the two games they have played since the resumption of the Ghanaian top-flight.

With 24 points, Accra Lions find themselves in 14th position on the Ghana Premier League table.
