2023 AFCON qualifiers: Black Stars to begin training for clash against Madagascar on Saturday

The Black Stars of Ghana will commence preparations for the 2023 TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON0 tournament on Saturday, May 28, 2022, when the team holds a first training session.

As confirmed today, Ghana head coach Otto Addo has announced his squad for the first two matches of the qualifiers to the 2023 TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.

In this phase of the qualifiers, the Black Stars will face their counterpart from Madagascar and the Central African Republic.

As part of preparations for the two games, the Ghana FA has released the itinerary agreed on by the technical team of the Black Stars.

From a statement issued by the football association this evening, it confirms that training will commence on Saturday, May 28, 2022, at the Cape Coast Stadium.
