Ghana coach, Chris Hughton, says he hopes the side does not concede against Angola as they hope to get the right balance of the team.

The 64-year-old will take charge of his first game against Angola in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations [AFCON] qualifying game at the Baba Yara Stadium.

Hughton hopes to make a strong start as the Black Stars begin their quest for their tenth consecutive AFCON appearance in Ivory Coast.

"We need to have the right balance. The most important thing is not to concede goals tomorrow," stated Hughton during a pre-match conference on Wednesday.

The game has been scheduled to kick off at 16:00GMT. The Black Stars will travel to Luanda for the reverse game on March 27.

The team held their final training session at the Baba Yara Stadium on Wednesday and look set for the game apart from Mohammed Salisu failed to train due to fitness issues.

The Black Stars are joint top of Group E alongside Angola with both teams with four points after two games.
