2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers: Kwasi Okyere Wriedt returns to Black Stars squad for Madagascar game

Germany-based striker, Kwasi Okyere Wriedt is returning to the Black Stars squad for Ghana’s next match in the qualifiers for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.

Ghana will take on Madagascar in the AFCON qualifiers next month on June 18.

Ahead of the clash, Black Stars head coach Chris Hughton has announced a 24-man squad today.

The squad includes striker Kwasi Okyere Wriedt.

The Holstein Kiel forward is returning to the Ghana squad after missing the doubleheader clash against Angola in March.

He will hope to have the chance to impress coach Chris Hughton to cement a place in the Black Stars squad.
