Despite a few absentees, including Portia Boakye and Azumah Bugre, who engaged in light training separately before joining the rest of the squad later on, Hauptle was pleased to have a fully fit team at her disposal.

The training session, lasting approximately two hours, marked Ghana's first practice session since their arrival in the Guinean capital. The players utilized the time to fine-tune their skills and tactics ahead of the crucial encounter.
