The Black Stars succumbed to a 1-0 defeat against Comoros at the Moroni Stadium on Tuesday. Comoros shot into the lead through Myziane Maolida’s solo effort in the 43rd minute mark.

And with no additional goal, Comoros cruised to victory to merit the three maximum points whiles they hand Ghana back to back defeats.

“We came here to win the game but it didn’t happen. I’m not satisfied with the results, congratulations to Comoros but we didn’t play well enough to utilize all the opportunities we had” he said.

The Black Stars remain at three points after two rounds of games, while Comoros ascends to the top of the group with four points from two matches.

Ghana will now turn their attention to the upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations tournament to be staged in Ivory Coast between January and February 2024.
