Former Board Member of Kumasi Asante Kotoko Alhaji Lamin believes the current board should be blamed for the club's troubles.
Alhaji Lamin who was a board member of the Porcupine warriors under the administration of Dr. K.K Sarpong, has applauded Opoku Nti for his work at the club despite not being satisfied with his overall service.
Speaking to Happy Fm on Anopa Bosuo sports on Wednesday, Alhaji Lamin confirmed that the current board led to the average performance of the club’s general manager Opoku Nti.
"Samuel Opoku Nit has done well but the board didn't help him to succeed.” Alhaji Lamin told Moses Antwi Benefo on happy fm.
Kotoko under the tutelage of General manager Opoku Nti, have claimed four titles, Ghana Premier League trophy, MTN FA Cup, GHALCA Top six and the President’s Cup trophy.
Opoku Nti’s three year contract with Kotoko came to an end on June 30, 2016 but the board of the club has employed him to supervise the team’s activities until the end of the season.
