Veteran football administrator, Abbey Pobee has expressed his disappointment in the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for setting up a three-member committee to look for a new head coach for the Black Stars.

According to the owner of Neoplan Stars, the move is of no importance with the technical director not on the committee.

Mr. Pobee during an interview with Class FM stressed that the GFA is just wasting time and the country’s resources.

“What are these people going to do? Even the FA president made an appointment and it has failed. How much more bringing this people to find a coach. Are they finding a foreign coach or a Ghanaian coach? And this committee do we have a technical man on it?

“Are we alright as Ghanaians? We are wasting our time. That’s the end of Ghana football. Ghana football has collapsed,” Abbey Pobee shared.

The Ghana FA last Monday announced that its Executive Council has taken the decision to terminate the contract of Black Stars head coach CK Akonnor.

A three-member committee put together has been tasked to settle on a new head coach by the close of the week.
