Ghanaian youngster Abdul-Aziz Yakubu was on target on Thursday afternoon as he helped Estoril Praia to defeat Academico Viseu 2-0.
The two clubs were in action today at the Estadio do Fontelo to honor a date on Matchday 3 of the Portuguese LigaPro.
Following a good start to the game, Estoril Praia took the lead after just 13 minutes of play courtesy a strike from Hugo Basto.
Later in the first half, Abdul-Aziz Yakubu registered his name on the scoresheet on the 25th minute to double the lead for the visitors.
The former Charity Stars striker impressed throughout the game and played an instrumental role to help Estoril Praia grab all 2 points at the end of the 90 minutes.
The 21-year old joined the Portuguese lower-tier club this summer after ending his stay with Vitória Guimarães SC.
