Jackson Kwateng, the elder brother of Nantes defender Enock Kwateng has named Ghana legend Abedi Pele as their football icon.

Kwateng mentioned they are of Ghanaian parentage and they grew up watching Abedi Pele at Olympique Marseille in the French Ligue 1.
“Our father is Ghanaian and we grew up following the exploits of Abedi Pelé then at Marseilles … Then there were the Ayew brothers. ” Kwateng told Ouest-france.

Enock is a summer transfer target of Everton, Spurs and Newcastle United after scouts of those clubs watched him. He is part of the French Under 21 team but still eligible to play for Ghana.
