Bechem United Striker Abednego Tetteh has been handed his debut call up to the Black Stars for Ghana’s 2017 AFCON qualifier against Rwanda.

The hat trick hero in the Bechem United and Hearts of Oak match day 27 game last Sunday has joined the team following the late arrivals of Asamoah Gyan, Jordan Ayew and Christian Atsu who are all sorting out their club careers.

He joins Dauda Mohammed of Asante Kotoko, Emmanuel Ocran of Wa All Stars and Richard Ofori also of All Stars as the local players in camp.

Thirteen (13) out of the 23-man squad reported to training on Tuesday when the team held its first training session.

The Black Stars who are leading Group H with 13 points will play their Rwandan counterparts at the Accra Stadium on Saturday September 3.
