AC Milan Striker Carlos Bacca Says 'Coach and Fans Believe in Me' After 3-1 Serie A Win Over Chievo

AC Milan striker Carlos Bacca was pleased with his performance after the club's 3-1 win over Chievo on Saturday.


Bacca scored twice, as well as missing a penalty, as Milan comfortably overcameChievo. The Colombian also missed a penalty, whileGianluca Lapadula sealed the win with a successful spot-kick late on.


"I am happy, for tonight, for what I did on the pitch. I am working hard and I can feel the coach and fans believe in me. This is important for me," Bacca told theclub's official website.

"I work a lot with coach Caccia and this is helping me very much. I feel I have improved since Montella has arrived.I can play well also with Lapa up front, it's the boss that decides who plays. We only have to focus on doing well for the team."


Lucas Ocampos, who came on as a substitute during the win, was pleased to contribute to the victory despite not grabbing his first goal for the club.


"I came on without having the chance to warm-up. It wasn't easy but everything went fine," the on-loan winger said.

"When you sign for a new club you need time to adapt and the coach, your teammates are very important. The boss is very demanding tactically speaking. Having many South American players in the team is helping me a lot.


"I can't wait to score my first goal in the Red and Black. No hurry, it'll happen.We have to focus on the next game against the Bianconeri. It won't be easy but we really want to do well."
