From all indications, AC Milan striker Luiz Adriano looks set for a move from the Serie A side to Russian club Spartak Moscow.

The player is currently on holiday in Brazil, but Milan CEO Adriano Galliani has strongly hintedthat the player is on his way out.

"I don't want to make any old statement, but what I can say is that Luiz Adriano's move to Spartak Moscow is very plausible," he toldtuttomercatoweb.com.

The striker's agent, Gilmar Veloz, also added to that, claiming that he would soon hold talks with Galliani over the move.

I won't meet Galliani today, the meeting has been postponed and we'll see each other tomorrow, he said on Tuesday.

Dimitri Seluk: "The only distinguishing feature Luiz Adriano has is pace. Spartak would be throwing money down the drain by signing him." pic.twitter.com/hb8rEwob8F

Spartak Moscow? The player first has to talk to the club and then we'll see. I think a transfer is possible, let's hope all goes well.

Now I expect a call from Galliani and I'll see him tomorrow afternoon [in Rio].

Milan are very eager to offload Adriano, as he is one of the biggest earners in the side. He came very close to joining Chinese Super League outfit Jiangsu Suning a year ago, but the move broke down, despite the striker travelling to China and posing for pictures with the club's scarf.

He later revealed that he had received no guarantees regarding wages, and decided not to seal a deal.

The forward's current contract expires in 2020, but he is not one of Vincenzo Montella's favourites, and has only played seven times this season, with six of those being substitute appearances.
