The coach of Wa All Stars, Enos Adipah, says although their target was to finish among the top four teams this season, winning the Ghana Premier League is a mission well accomplished.

“We worked towards it from the beginning of the season with a good pre-season preparation. The management of the club also knew our target so they did everything to support us and today this is the result,” the sensational coach told the Graphic Sports in an interview yesterday.

“I was sure we will make it but I did not want to pre-empt anything,” he added, saying “the achievement means a lot to me personally because it has boosted my belief that the path I’ve chosen to pursue will be successful.”

“It also means a lot to the entire Wa All Stars family,” he noted, and described Sunday’s last league match against Sekondi Hasaacas as the most difficult encounter since Hasaacas could be an impediment towards his aim to hit his targeted points for the season.

Commenting on their preparedness for their maiden CAFChampions League campaign next year, the coach of the moment said, “we have worn our garment and are ready for Africa.”

Coach Adipah expressed his profound gratitude to all those who supported him, particularly Mr Albert Kwame Sarpong of Fijai Senior High School, Coach Eben Sefah for their unflinching support.

Meanwhile, Wa All Stars have expressed disappointment at the “alleged scenes of disorder in Wa during their match against Aduana Stars last Wednesday and condemned such acts”.

In a statement signed by the Team Manager, Seth Panwum, the club called on all stakeholders to conduct themselves responsibly before, during and after matches, adding that “we leave the matter to the authorities to deal with it”.
