Accra Great Olympics will not be relegated: Board Member

A Board Member of Accra Great Olympics Fred Pappoe insists they will not be relegated despite their poor start to the season.

The wonder club after match-day five are still without a win- a situation which sees them pick just two points out of a possible fifteen points.

With how things are going, many have predicted that Olympics will be one of the three teams that will be relegated after the season.

But Fred Pappoe thinks otherwise.

“Supporters and board members have been making suggestions on who to play and who not to play. It is natural for us to suggest players to him. I’m a board member of Great Olympics and so, if I see a player, I can suggest to the coach,” he stated.

“That is the whole issue, there is no problem between Godwin Attram and the board or management. I will, therefore, call on the media to report accurate news and be circumspect in what they report.”

“Where were Aduana Stars after six games last season and where did they finish at the end of the season? True, we have a problem and it’s work in progress [but] Olympics will survive and we will not be relegated,” he assured.
