Accra Lions head coach Ibrahim Tanko has stated that his side deserves the three points after battling hard to secure a 3-2 win against Dreams FC.
Lions playing at home scored through Samari Salifu, and Dominic Amponsah's brace in their match week 21 game while Ebenezer Adade and Eric Danso Boateng scored for Dreams FC.
Accra Lions remain second on the Ghana Premier League table with 37 points.
“I said it before the game that we are going to play against a very good team but we are good in form and we continue were we stop. And I think it is deserved when we take game by game I said we are enjoying the moment second position is good for us," he said on Peace FM as monitored by Footballghana.com
"Lets keep on working hard and at the end of the season we come to first why not I mean it is a team work and these are the two guys who scored today. But I have to compliment all the teams not only them we are working hard and all the players are working hard if they score today maybe next week someone will score. The only thing is we won and have the three points that is the most important thing,”
