Former Feyenoord youth coach Co Adriaanse is full of praise for Southampton midfielder Jordy Clasie.
Clasie is currently on-loan at Club Brugge this season.
Adriaanse, discussing players leaving too soon from Holland, told De Telegraaf: "We rarely see players now leaving for the top clubs.
"Vincent Janssen left here, but was not ready at the time.
"(But) Clasie, according to some, had to leave here, but he just said: 'I will not let myself be sent away'. It was wonderful that he became captain of Feyenoord and the Dutch national team."
