The two-time Ghana Premier League winners traveled to Tamale last Sunday to beat the Pride of the North 3-1 in the week 7 clash played at the Aliu Mahama Stadium.

Abdul Shakur Lukman scored for RTU in the 25th minute, but Aduana Stars rallied with a brace from Emmanuel Gyamfi and another from Isaac Mintah, who added the third goal to secure a crucial win for Aduana Stars.

“Our tactics worked to perfection. The character of players and everything was okay so I’m happy with the win. I was able to watch their last game and then, we tried to strategize a bit because we also won our last game against Great Olympics so we decided to change the team a bit to see if we can do something and I’m happy we got the three points” he said.
