Ghana's sole representative in Africa, Aduana Stars have departed the country for DR. Congo ahead of their CAF Confederations Cup clash against AS Vita on Sunday.
The two-Ghanaian champions left with 15 players and few officials as they seek to record their first away win in the competition to enhance their chances of progressing into the quarter-finals.
The team departed at exactly 1 pm on board an ASKY Airline which will make stopovers at Lome and Addis Ababa before finally landing in Kinshasa.
The game will kick-off at 1 pm at the Stade des Matyrs in Kinshasa.
Aduana Stars are second on the table with 4 points, same points as Vita Club and a win or draw will increase their chances of qualifying to the next stage of CAF’s second prestigious club competition.
