Aduana Stars depart for Congo ahead of CAF Confederations Cup clash against AS Vita

Ghana's sole representative in Africa, Aduana Stars have departed the country for DR. Congo ahead of their CAF Confederations Cup clash against AS Vita on Sunday.

The two-Ghanaian champions left with 15 players and few officials as they seek to record their first away win in the competition to enhance their chances of progressing into the quarter-finals.

The team departed at exactly 1 pm on board an ASKY Airline which will make stopovers at Lome and Addis Ababa before finally landing in Kinshasa.

The game will kick-off at 1 pm at the Stade des Matyrs in Kinshasa.

Aduana Stars are second on the table with 4 points, same points as Vita Club and a win or draw will increase their chances of qualifying to the next stage of CAF’s second prestigious club competition.
