Aduana Stars join race to sign Sogne Yacouba

Ghana Premier League giants Aduana Stars have joined the race to sign Asante Kotoko forward Sogne Yacouba, reports available to footballghana.com have revealed. 

The Burkinabe important remains contracted with the Porcupine Warriors but have less than a month remaining on his deal, making him eligible to begin negotiations with interested clubs.

Though Asante Kotoko tried to extend his stay in Kumasi, Yacouba's demand of $150,000 stalled talks before subsequently club Executive Chairman Dr. Kwame Kyei indicated that cannot pay what he is asking for.

In his final month at the club, information coming in indicates that Aduana Stars is readying a bid for the attacker and could meet up with him and his agent this weekend.

"Asante Kotoko star striker Sogne Yacouba and his representatives are set to meet officials of Aduana Stars on Saturday for a possible transfer of the Burkinabe to the Dormaa based club",  a report according to FOX FM has revealed.

For now, Aduana Stars is yet to confirm their interest in the player but speculations continue with regards to the player. Other Ghana Premier League clubs said to be interested in the services of Sogne Yacouba include Hearts of Oak and Legon Cities FC.
