Aduana Stars PRO insist Abdul Rashed has escaped and not injured

Public Relations Officer (PRO) of Aduana Stars, Evans Oppong believes their left back Abdul Rashed has absconded and not injured as reported.

The talented left-back has revealed in an interview with Ashh FM which was monitored by footballghana.com that, a week after the team resumed training for the Betway tournament in Obuasi early this year, he got an injury during team's training.

"Before the four-team tournament organized by Betway in Obuasi I was injured, I got injured during our campaign in Africa, despite receiving my arrears late from the club, no one phoned to ask of my injury concern. No management member asked of my condition".

"Last week I went for training and informed the coach of my situation where he adviced me to offenly come to training when my injury looks better".Thats why I left Dormaa to the house", he revealed.

"Players, management and technical staff all aware am injured and nursing my injury".

Aduana Stars released a statement on their missing player on Thursday and the PRO insists the player has escaped and attempt to locate him has been futile, denying the fact that, the club knows Abdul Rashed whereabout.

"We don't have any information or whatsoever on the player, prior to the special competition kickoff the technical team, team manager and welfare manager reported that the player cannot be reached". All effort to trace him has been futile after he received his salary".
