Aduana Stars swoop for Techiman City's Baba Mahama ater Yahaya Mohammed sale

Techiman City star Baba Mahama is on the verge of a transfer to Aduana Stars ahead of the 2016/17 Ghana Premier League season.

His former boss, Yussif Abubakar who took over the reins at Aduana last week has asked CEO Albert Commey to sign the player at all costs because he will be central to their bid for a league title.

A deal is expected to be sealed next week, as the imminent departure of Yayaha Mohammed to Azam FC necessitates a replacement striker.

Mahama had a fine season in the 2015/16 GPL netting four goals for the debutants which wasn’t enough to keep them in the league.

The player has previously been linked with heavyweights, Accra Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko but both clubs were priced out of a deal.
